Quoting Pro is a quoting application operated by Quoting Pro PTY LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Quoting Pro mobile and web application collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Quoting Pro app and does not cover any third-party websites or services. If you have any questions, contact us at support@quotingpro.com.au.
Who we are
Quoting Pro is a business-to-business tool for people who prepare quotes in person — trades, renovators, event and catering professionals and similar. Accounts are provisioned by an organisation administrator; the app is not for general consumer sign-up.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the quoting service:
- Account and contact information — your name, email address and phone number, and the same details for the customers you create quotes for.
- Quote and project content — the quotes, checklists, pricing, services, notes, appointments and related records you create in the app.
- Photos — images you attach to a quote or item, for example photos of a job site.
- Identifiers — a user account identifier used to sign you in and keep your data separate from other accounts.
We do not collect location data, payment card data, health data, browsing history, or contacts from your device. We do not use third-party advertising and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Customer information you enter
When you add a customer’s details to create a quote, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so. We process that information on your behalf solely to provide the quoting service to you.
How we use information
We use the information above only to provide and operate the app’s functionality — to create and store your quotes, generate branded PDF quotes, send those quotes and related transactional emails, sync your data across your devices, and provide support. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
How information is stored and shared
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare (database, file storage and session storage). We use EmailIt to send transactional emails such as quotes and account notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not otherwise share your information except where required by law.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls that keep each account’s data isolated from other accounts.
Data retention
We retain your account and quote data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time, as set out below.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct or delete the information in your account at any time through the app, through your organisation administrator, or by contacting us at support@quotingpro.com.au. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
Account deletion
Because accounts are provisioned by an organisation administrator, you can request account and data deletion through your administrator or by emailing support@quotingpro.com.au.
Children
Quoting Pro is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
